I think I have had RLS since i was little, i remember not being able to fall asleep because my legs hurt unless I moved them around the bed until i fell asleep. I take over the counter stuff and it helps my legs, so i wanted to know if I already found something that helps, do i still need to let my doctor know about the symptoms?

I would tell him in case the OTC stops working or the RLS gets worse. What is working for you OTC? That's great. The only thing that works for me is Mirapex.

I'm not sure...I just get it from walgreens. It's in a travel tube and it's little white things that dissolve under your tounge. I've never been dx with it, but when my legs hurt that medicine is the ONLY thing to help. They have tried giving me strong muscle relaxers and pain killers, and it just makes it worse. Thank you for your reply. I'm not even sure what RLS is, which is why I asked should I tell my dr. I was just worried it's a circulation problem or something.

i would recommend doing a little research on RLS and just make yourself more aware, that might help you to decide whether or not to see your dr.
