Does anyone have any tips on staying awake? Ex food, exercises, etc.
Obviously not caffeine or anything that will make the PLM worse. Posted on 03/24/09, 06:03 pm |

Are you taking any kinds of meds now for your plm? I agree caffeine is a no no and alot of the otc meds that has antihistamines can definitely trigger the rls.
I have the rls and a mild form of plm. I am on meds for the rls and is helping but now and then still get the symptoms but not as bad as they were before. I know exercise is good as I do exercise in the morning and watch what I eat. Do you eat alot of food with high carbs as that could make you sleepy. I hope that this info is of some help to you. Here are two sites on rls and plm that I am sure will be helpful to you. www.rlshelp.org and www.wemove.org Charlene
