" I sympathize with you! I have had RLS for several years and currently take 1mg of Requip at night. This works wonders. However, you can't take it during pregnancy and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years! I'm currently weaning off the requip while doing infertility treatments. I'm scared, but know it will be worth it if I can get pregnant. My neurolist has said you can take codeine or oxycodone during pregnancy to treat RLS, as it is a Category B drug during pregnancy, however, my OB won't prescribe it for me. There isn't really any other meds to treat RLS that are safe to take. Keep trying anything and everything until something works. Best wishes on conceiving! "

" I nanda I am so sorry for you are going through. I am going to give you two sites which may give you some answers for your rls and also trying to get pregnant. I do not have any children so cannot give you any input on that.

www.rlshelp.org and www.wemove.org

On the first site that I gave you there is a Dr Buchfuhrer (he is with the restless leg foundation) and he does have an e-mail address. If you cannot find it let me know and I will look for it for you. I understand that he is very good in answering e-mails.

Please let me know if this sites help you and also if you need the e-mail address.
Charlene "

" Hi Nanda when you type in the e-mail address for Dr B go to the second link and it will have at the bottom page e-mail (showing an envelope) and click on that and it will bring you right to the e-mail address. Sorry for all the postings but hope this will help you. E-mail him tomorrow or even try today as I hear that he answers right away.
