  • Decorating my new home

    Saturday, June 28, 2008

    Plans for decorating:
    Kitchen:
All accents, like curtains, rugs, clock, plant pots, tea kettle, place mats, table cloth, napkins, etc. will be bright yellow against stark white, with a touch of black.
    Living room:
Furnture and cutains will be shabby chic. Lots of floral designs and pictures. Ni limits on colors. I'm going to hang multi colored patio lights on the ceiling. I know it sounds gaudy, ...

  • DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE....OR LET ANYONE ELSE!!!!

    Wednesday, March 5, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

    I went to a party,
    And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
so I had a sprite instead.
    I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would,
that I didn't drink and drive,
though some friends said I should.
    I made a healthy choice,
And your advice to me was right.
    The party finally ended,
and the kids drove out of sight.
    I got into my car,
Sure to get home in one piece.
    I neve...

  • Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout,

    Saturday, August 23, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

    Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout
Would not take the garbage out!
She'd scour the pots and scrape the pans,
Candy the yams and spice the hams,
And though her daddy would scream and shout,
She simply would not take the garbage out.
And so it piled up to the ceilings:
    Coffee grounds, potato peelings,
    Brown bananas, rotten peas,
    Chunks of sour cottage cheese.
It filled the can, it covered the floor,
    It...

  • A CHILDHOOD LOST

    Saturday, March 8, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

This is a poem I wrote when I first started my healing journey from childhood sexual abuse.  I have shared it before with some of my friends, but now I feel that there are others whom might benefit from it.  Sorry it is so big but I couldn't get it to reduce and fit to this page.
    A CHILDHOOD LOST
    By: Soleil
    Within by heart,
    Within my soul,
    Your sordid actions
    Took their toll.
    I bui...

  • THE ROSE

    Saturday, July 26, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

    The Rose
It is only a tiny rosebud,
    A flower of God's design,
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
    - The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I,
The flower God opens so sweetly,
In my hands would fade and die.
    - I cannot unfold a rosebud,
    This flower of God's design,
Then how can I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
    - So I'll trust Him for His ...

  • MY INNER CHILD

    Wednesday, March 12, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

    MY INNER CHILD             By:  Soleil
I couldn’t bear to look at her
    A painful past had she
    She forced me to remember
All the things they did to me
I put the blame on her you see
I looked at her with shame
I wished for things that couldn’t be
    I needed her to blame
I saw her as small and weak
No spine had she at all
    Why didn’t she...

  • There's No Place to Go But Up

    Thursday, November 13, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

There's No Place to Go But Up
    I remember that day,
When he took my little hand.
Said, "want me to take you around?"
    I pedaled and breaked,
    Just like Daddy said.
So why did I fall to the ground?
    He calmed his baby down
    And whispered in my ear-
"It's true, you've had bad luck.
But when you hit the bottom,
    Remember these words:
There's no place to go but up."
    Plates and...

  • Journal Entry for June 19, 2008

    Thursday, June 19, 2008

This morning when the Lord opened a window to Heaven, he saw me, and he asked:
My child, what is your greatest wish for today?
    I responded:
'Lord please; take care of the person who is reading this message,
their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much'
The love of God is like the ocean, you can see its beginnings but Not its end
    This message works on th...

Hello to all my wonderful friends,
