How to get my son to gain weight

My son has serious issues in gaining weight, and he's on a high calorie diet including consuming pediasure and holy cow bars everyday. Neither of these seem to be helping him. He could eat a full meal and when he's done his stomach could be extended out and he'll sit and relax his stomach after eating so he doesn't get sick, and after about 2 minutes of resting his stomach will be flat as a board all over again. This is a huge concern for my husband and i, cause we don't know what else to do for him. Im not sure if there is medication out there that will help him gain weight or what we should do for him! Before he was born his bio mom, was a poly drug user and ruined his central nervous system and he was also born with "neonatal abstenance syndrome"!So im not sure if these 2 issues are coinsided or not, but if anyone has any advice for me, please let me know what we could do to help him out!
