Well it's been 6 months since i heard the words your tumor was cancer! this week i have all the scans and blood work and next week i meet with Dr. i sometimes think the waiting is worse than the knowing. i've had a few issue these past 6 months, still having blood in my urine and some pain, but they keep assuring me it could just be from the surgery and the healing. my husband still doesn't say the cancer word, nor do most of my family, luckly i have a good friend and a support group at church to let my feelings out to. i also have this group of wonderful caring friends who pray and support me. thank-you Daily Strength Family! prayers and hugs to all of you.

" Dear Peggy,

Getting scans and waiting for results are a necessary part of your new life.

I found that it is never easy to wait for results...some will be good and others may not be so good. We've been through this for almost 8 years now with scan every 2-3 months. This is a part of our journey that I have learned to accept because it helps us know what meds are working or not working. The best news is that today, there are lots of treatment options that allow patients to maintain a good quality of life.

I wish the very best to you.
Sincerely,
Linda "
