Hello Everyone !!
I just wanted to check in with you all and let you know how i am doing .. well today is the best day i have had since my surgery over 3 weeks ago..
I am still having some pain , not so much around my scar area but down in my stomach around my hip bone i have some pain there and like a stinging feeling under my skin..i guess it is normal , doctor said i am doing fine just to take it easy. the reports came back and it was 1st stages of cancer but doc said he got it all.. but will keep a close eye on me for awhile because of my family history .. so i am just taking it 1 day at a time..I hope everyone is doing well , and thank you all so much for your kind words and advice it has truly helped me so much .

Thanks Again ,
Beth

" We are all so very pleased at your progress. Thanks for letting us know.

I'd expect your doctor is right, that you are doing well. Remember that your body took a MAJOR trauma; it won't heel overnight or even in a few month. You'll still be a bit sore and maybe stiff for some time. Some people say as long as a year.

I'm sure your medical team is recommending periodic checkups. Please do get them.

" Wonderful to hear that you are making good progress! Any trauma to the body takes time to heal. Sure your doctor is happy with how you're doing. Close follow-ups are important, so happy that they'll keep a close eye on you. Hang in there and continue to get stronger with each passing day.

Love,
Ingrid "

" Hi Bethann, My name is Jackie and I was going to write you when I originally read your discussion, but I went in for surgery just about when you did. I'll be 3 wks postop this Tuesday and it's been a slow recovery with all sorts of wierd feelings/emotions and pains. Glad to hear you're having some good days now. I find I have both. Here's to getting better and moving on....Jackie "
