I had my right kidney removed this week and got my pathology back. I had a 4 cm mass that was rcc. The margins were clear so it was stage 1. I had pulmonary embolism 15months ago a nd thats when the renal cyst was found. I had to maneuver myself through a wide variety of doctors. It was only after my next pulmonary embolism in feb that I started to get some action. Even then it was the 4 th urologist that ive seen that really felt the kidney needed to come out. Hopefully I will not have any more pe's now that the cancer is out.

Let us know how you are doing. Annette
