" My dad did and had good test results after using it! Side effects got the best of him and his life style though rash on hands and feet, thrush in the mouth and nausea. The doctor's took him off of it and changed chemo's and nothing else worked like Sutent. I hope it works for you! "

" I totally understand the friend and family thing. I have stage 4 Chromophobe renal cancer. I had a nephrectomy in 09 and a thoracotomy in Dec 2010 for multiple chest nodes. Nothing in my lungs, yet. I to will eventually go on sutent but right now I'm in the holding pattern until something new arises.Kind of scary. My next CT is the end of this month. Stay positive and know drugs work differently on everyone. "

" Sutent worked for my husband for about 10 months and then stopped. Side effects were not bad at all for him.
Good luck~ "

" Hi
My Hubby just started round 2 of Sutent 50 mg. He has kidney, both lungs and now the spine. Sutent is a tough one for us. He has barely been to work since he started it. The exhaustion, high bp and one round in the hospital for low sodium. We are hoping round 2 is better than 1. "
