Well, it's wednesday and todays the first day of school here in Oregon. My youngest granddaughter starts kindergarten today. Boy they grow so fast. I feel blessed because my daughter and son-in-law let me be a big part of her life. I was just sitting here waiting for a fax to come in and filling out my Jury Duty paperwork and got to thinking I hadn't said hello for a couple of days.

Okay, sooooooo.....I've decided to give the journal thing a shot. I'm notoriously bad at such things, but I've got two reasons I've decided to start.

Finally it is getting cooler! It has been so muggy and soggy at the house I feel molded. I have often heard it said of Alabama, "if you don't like the weather here, hang around for a few days it will change". Today went by fast; woke up still sore from yesterday. Didn't have as much of a 'baseball bat to the back' feeling. The abdo pain was still weird, transient. Got in a tub of water and enjoyed it so much that I camped out in there for almost an hour. Yummy... Everyone I meet or talk to tells me how wonderful my attitude is. Actually I think that my feeling about my cancer are very neutral and I don't know why. Is it my faith, do I not care.....I don't know. I have this overwhelming, but not scary feeling that the cancer will metastatize, if it hasn't already. So things have been a bit crazy this week. We found out how much our part of the chemo treatments would be for the out of pocket part. They told us before his had his treatment.
