  • An Open Appology to Michael Dymant

    Thursday, May 15, 2008 | A Positive story

Well I have done much thinking over the past three days and I have come to the following conclusion- I have unwittingly allowed hurtful people to involve me in their own personal agendas on this site.  Unfortunately, Oz started out a group of strong people, Michael, Sarah, Lynda and myself and then we expanded. Well we did not know what we were in for.  I met a woman through Lynda who I...

  • back on Sutent

    Sunday, January 11, 2009 | A Positive story

I have been back on the sutent for 7 days and I seem to be tolerating it much better this time.  My blood pressure has stabilized and except for a sore mouth I have been feeling pretty good.  I have gotten out on my own a few times and regaining some independence has been wonderful for my spirits.  I had a good check up with my oncologist and he feels hopeful that I will show some ...

Ray and I are in gorgeous Destin Florida, and having a WONDERFUL time.  It really does have clear blue water and beautiful white sandy beaches.  We rented a nice condo righ on the Gulf.  I'm watching the sunset, as I write this.  Life doesn't get much better than this.  Thank you, God, for giving us this special time together in this special place.

    10/14/09
Ray had bloodwork, chest x-ray, and exam with oncologist today.  All looked great and mets in lungs had not changed.   Dr. Babcock was astounded that Ray looks so good and all the bloodwork and x-ray look great.  God is AWESOME!  We are feeling so very grateful!  Next CTscan will be 11/23/09.

Well I can not believe it finally after the last eleven months of nothing but bad news we finally got good news.  Fluid in both lungs have disappeared and some of the larger lung tumours have reduced in size up to 30%, you could imagine our joy and happiness at this, this is giving us more time and that is all we ask for.  This is the best christmas gift that anyone could give us. ...

  • This will be a very special Thanksgiving!

    Tuesday, November 24, 2009 | A Positive story

    11/24/09
We saw the oncologist today, and Ray had a CTscan and bloodwork.  The bloodwork all looked good.  The CTscan showed maybe one milimeter growth in lung nodules, but the doctor wasn't too concerned and considered it a "nonsignificant change".  He doesn't have to return until January 19th.  Can't begin to say how grateful we are to God...
