Today was a good day. My father was able to get up today and stand up. He said that he feels better then he has in weeks.
Last weekend he cried in my arms saying he can't do this anymore. I have never seen my father cry before.

Well tomorrow is the big cook out- We decided on ribs instead of a whole pig due to Bill's arm (he had rotator cuff surgery). There should be 40 plus people/kids there should be a blast for all. I pick up the ribs tonight- Wish me luck!

Well, I'm trying to think more positively today. Key word TRYING. I wear a lot of skirts. I like skirts. I mean, I wear pants too, but I don't know, they're just not as interesting to me and honestly I've got big hips, so skirts look better too. It has been over 2 months and I am feeling pretty good. Apparently when I had the surgery they tore a rib cartlidge. It is pretty sore and I still can't wear a regular bras because it makes my rib area sore. I am CANCER FREE and I go next week for my check up. It's been a WONDERFUL DAY!!! The Lasix definitely helped last night, even though poor Ray was up and down all night. He was one pound lighter this morning, and the swelling reduced about 40%. Praise God! I gave him another pill at 4:30, so hoping it will do it's job prior to midnight, and he can get more rest tonight. Bless his precious heart.

I am so happy that I am starting to feel like my old self again. I still have back pain but not it radiates down my leg, I still have to go every 6 months for my CT on my cancer but over all I am feeling better. I have finally given in to the fact that things could be worse. I know that God has given me this trial to show me how to live life again.
