On December 19th I had a CT Scan with contrast to see if cancer had reappeared were they had removed a tumor from my left kidney.
This is a scary test because the contrast material they use can shut down your kidneys totally.
They admitted me to the hospital 24hrs before the test and gave me IV saline solution to help hydrate me. This makes it better to be able to flush out the contrast from ...1 Recommendation1 Comment -
Aside from my personal blog elsewhere, I found another article that a patient & their wife/significant other would probably find interesting...it was based on a study of male prostate cancer patients. Well, the Kidney Cancer Association has done it again. Not only is there a Webinar coming up July 8th about Kidney Cancer surgery modalities, but they sent me an email this past week that spoke of mRCC and RCC patients offering their feedback, and if chosen, they are giving $50 to the person they chose.
