I FINALLY got my CT results late last week. The nurse called and left it on my machine and then finally got a hold of me at work. The CT looks great and NEGATIVE. The cancer is gone!!!!! I was so happy that I listen to the message she left on my machine several times.

Hard to believe it's July. The older I get, the faster life goes. Whew!
Ray saw our Internal Medicine physician this morning. He checked his BP, which is still much too high. He changed his BP med from 5 mg. once a day to 10 mg. twice a day, and also prescribed a diuretic. We feel positive that these changes will make a huge difference.

Hello everyone.sorry i havnt been on lately but i just wanted to let you all know that hubby had his surgery on tuesday the 21st of july.all went great,he did wonderful with the entire surgery.there was no problems at all.the doc did havt to remove the whole kidney,there was no saving any of it...i just want to thank everyone for all their kind and caring words,and especially all the prayers.you ...1 Recommendation4 Comments

Ray had another good night's rest. PTL. His creatinine dropped to 5.8 and platelets went up 1,000. Thank you, dear God! The BP is still too high, but sure the drugs can be adjusted more today.

Ray was released from Baptist Hospital this afternoon. He had a blood transfusion and Procrit shot before we left. The trip to Sumter went well, and he enjoyed seeing outside....the first time in 22 days! Home health nurse will come tomorrow and home PT will start Monday. Art and I just found out today that what we thought was a surgery date scheduled on November24th, in reality is a consultation before surgery. Clearly, our local Urology office did not communicate that to us which led to us thinking surgery was scheduled for November 24th.
