SEVERE EYE MUSCLE SPASMS - BOTOX

Two months ago I severely overstrained my eyes through over-studying. One eye has recovered but I am experiencing severe muscle spasms in the right eye-muscle and it feels like the muscle is seizing up. I can barely open my eyes and am completely debilitated by this. (My dad is writing this)
My doctor suggested botox to relieve the spasms. I am desperate to try this. Has anyone had a similar problem, or tried botox for any reason? Thank you Lindsay PS I have RSD in my right leg, but my symptoms there are under control. Posted on 09/23/09, 07:09 pm |

ok I get spasms in my foot and they only way I can stop it is to put it in a bucket of ice water. ..Now I don't suggest that you put your head in a bucket of ice water. :D I'm thinking and Ice pack on the eye might help. It's worth a shot. Although a shot of botox is a compleately different story. Id hold off on that one. Hope your eye is twich free soon!!
