Advice:
How does one lose weight when can't workout?

I have RSD in my knee & hip problems, I've been gaining more weight within the last few months with new medications I'm on. I am looking to find out what works best for people that want/need to lose weight but can't workout like what most diet plans call for. I don't want to just pick & choose something & find out that it doesn't work & I've spent a lot of money. Any suggestions? What has worked for you?

" Hi Cricket,

If you have access to a swimming pool that might help a LOT. Personally, I have been doing pool physical therapy and not only does the the water enable to you move around quite easily, it also decreases the pain. I find myself able to move much better in the water than out, and the exercise you'll get in the water might get your heart pumping and burn calories. One word of caution, get out of the pool slowly and give your body a chance to get used to being out of the water before you try to walk away. Your body needs to get used to being out of the water because it is a rough transition sometimes. The more you do, though, the more your body will get used to it. Good luck! "
