No I haven't tried any gloves or socks that they sell.
I crochet and made myself a bunch of fingerless gloves to wear in the house, I crochet a pocket inside so I can put a handwarmer in the glove and it will stay in place. I also bought myself a pair of mittens from LL Bean.com and they are the warmest mittens I have ever owned. I will be in Texas this winter thank god. My raynauds is so out of control that the holding cold drink or going into and out of the A/c can trigger it. I keep my house at about 70 degrees all year round.

i wish i could do that but it makes my husband and kids uncomfortable. I never thought about the hand warmer. Do you ever lay down on something like a sheet that's a little bit cold for others but it's like ice for you and you can feel it like to the bone and it hurts really really really bad?

Yes things feel cold to me that may not feel cold to my husband.
He is like an oven all the time and I am always freezing. My husband lives with being a bit warm because he knows that not only am I cold but it hurts me physically. I get very irritable when my body temp goes up and down because it cause me discomfort and pain. I use an extra blanket in the bed that is twin size that way he doesn't have to have it on him, it a fleece blanket that I find warm and comforting. I layer my clothes and wear a sweater and sock, slipper around the house so that I can deal with the A/C when it gets really hot outside. In the winter like I said I use the hand warmer. I crochet fingerless mittens that I made a pocket on the inside to to hole the warmer in place. I would like to send you a pair of the gloves. Send me a private message or email me your address at gp1965@ymail.com. Take care gloria

I've been dealing with Raynaud's for over 20 years. It's hereditary, got it from my Mom's side of the family (Thanks, Mom!). Chances are I'll pass it along to one of my kids, too. I take nifedical 30 mg daily to help, but not alleviate the symptoms. My trainer told me that when my fingers start to turn white to open and close my fingers rapidly for a short time and that would help to get the blood circulating again. I find this works well and will also work on my toes. I live in Boston and Winters can be tough. I haven't found a pair of gloves at any price that will work to keep my hands warm. I buy a box of those hand warmer packs and use them late Fall through early Spring to keep my hands warm. Mittens work well but aren't very "manley" but I don't care as long as I'm comfortable!

I know this sounds funny, but it works. Next time your fingers go white or purple, do the helicoptor! Stand up, arms extended out wide and spin. Spin until you feel the blood running into your fingers (=warmth!).
