Why is it that doctor offices have to pump the air conditioner so much!
today i was shaking and trembling because it was unbearable for me.
the visit was last minute so i had sandals on and my feet were turning colors. i have been dealing with my raynauds so well up until today, i have no had a flare up in so long. But today I almost walked out of the office it was so uncomfortable, other people in the room i felt could see me shaking. Not only winter hurts my raynauds but the fake cold air from air conditioners really can get me 10x worse....

Just felt like venting ! :)

" Hi, I'm new here as of today. I know what you mean the air conditioning is not the greatest for us raynauds. Maybe you could ask your doc. when you schedule an app. that you can be seen right away. Your doc. should know how uncomfortable you are. My doc. does that for me, they schedule me on her slow days once in awhile I'll have to wait for about 10 or 15 min. "

" Hi, new as of about an hour ago. I was just diagnosed this year with Raynaud's, but with hindsight have been living with it for about twenty years. My doctor had me schedule this horrible test which involves holding your hands in a bowl of ice water for a full minute. That was morning. In the evening at my brother's engagement party, the A/C set off a full blown attack. The bride's family shut it off at some point, but it didn't help. The summer heat lulls you into thinking that you'll be symptom free for a while and than you go somewhere with A/C. I live in Israel, no rain until maybe Nov, but I still take a sweater in the evening. "
