" Raynaud's disease affects the blood vessels in the extremities eg.fingers, toes, ears and nose and when exposed to the cold the vessels spasm and narrow-causing pain and they should be warmed slowly so as to prevent tissue damage.in winter avoid going out in the cold without a hat(as a lot of body heat escapes through our heads)gloves and a scarf also try to lead a stressfree life (as much as possible) and avoid being around smokers as they are all facors that can trigger an attack.
