The 2 year anniversary of my rape is coming up soon and Im still having a very hard time dealing with it. 2 years of my life wasted because I made a stupid decision. Sometimes I wonder if it will ever go away, or is it going to haunt me everyday for the rest of my life? Sometimes I wonder if its even worth it anymore...

hello dear.. remember one thing...not your stupid decision! not your decision of any kind at all, in fact. it wasnt you who decided.
im only a year into my saga.. but its getting better, there is hope. i refuse to be haunted, defined by what i had to endure.. some time had to pass before i could embrace this. the one who did it to me even messaged me and wanted to talk like we were good buddies or something. didnt cry. we all have own ways of dealing with it. and hope you will find yours. i play the sax too... i used to... you inspired me to get bk to it. thank you! im around if you think i could help:)

Like free dreams said, remember that it was not because of any of your decisions. No matter what you think you did that was a stupid decision, you didn't ask for or deserve or put yourself in a position where you should have such a thing done to you. No matter what it was! I can't give you any advice besides that since I haven't even reached 2 months yet but... remember that it wasn't your fault in anyway.
