I'm 18 years old...and was sexually abused by my dad from the time I was 5-8, including multiple rapes.
The most recent one was in June. People know about it, but it doesn't seem like anyone really cares. The whole "they do care, they just don't know how to help" thing is a lie. They know that I need someone...they just don't care. For the first time in my entire life, I'm out of the household where he lived. I don't know how to move on or deal with any of this, it's just too much. I can't do it by myself, but don't really have anyone to lean on...I'm not really asking for any of you to do anything about it, I just had to get a little of this out. I am here for you if you want to talk. I was sexually abused by a family friend from 5-8 and was raped numerous times by the same person. My family knows what happened and they don't care. The act like loving people to everyone except me. I understand what you are going through.
