Which excites you more? A fire at night, or by day? Or have you no preference? I shall share my thoughts after the others, assuming there are any others.

Night or twilight is good specially if you film it. My first at 10 was a cornfield during day. Depends on the purpose and aim of the fun.

LOL! I would never film it. It would be nice to see it on the news, though.
For beauty, I prefer night. For the added element of excitement at possibly being caught, I much prefer the daytime.

I'm afraid I'm a bit low tech, when it comes to fires. A bit of a purist. I prefer a natural flame, burning brightly.
I would like to watch you setting yours, though. It sounds very exciting.

To truly be engulfed by true beauty of flames, it has to be night while there is nothing there to outshine it other than the glow of others faces as they possibly watch with you.
