" Hi there! My only symptom was breathlesness on exertion but as there can be lots of different reasons for this it needs to be checked out by a doctor. PH is quite rare so its unlikely that you have it. If your doc thinks its a possibility he will probably have a heart echo done (just a painless ultrasound scan) which might indicate high pulmonary pressures and only then would you have to have other tests for PH. Don't worry - Sandi xx "

" Yes, I find breathlessness is the biggest problem, especially stairs or bending over. I also have low energy, fatigue but breathlessnesss is the main thing. "

" I agree with goldilox. With PAH I am short of breath, hard to climb stairs, fatigue is the worst symptom for me because I look like I can do anything and people look at me like I am faking it. When I do overexert I suffer for it a week after. It is frustrating so I am learning to pace myself. I feel like when I take deep breaths sometimes I can't. I feel soome pressure in my chest. Now I am gaining back the weight I lost and so bending over really bothers me.
I think the most important test is the echo. The doctors found out my pressuse was 110 when I was first diagnosed. They were surprised I could walk into their office but I know that prayers help.
I believe my pressure is down to 82 or somewhere in there - I haven't gone back to the doctor for another echo because my husband has to take me and it is an all day thing. We are waiting until he has a day out of school. He teaches summer school so I will be seeing the doctor soon.
Let us hear how things go and I am praying for you. Love and Prayers, Berta "

" I also have Pulnonary Hyperstension. I also have extreme problems with shortness of breath, where everyone looks at me like I'm going to fall over any minute. I also have ADD and am taking a med called Vyvance. I don't think it is good for PH but I can't get an answer. What do you think? "
