" Hi deepcreek
I also have PH and am only on lasix at this time. I find if you take it and the swelling goes down, you will feel better. Once you get rid of the fluid, you will feel better. You have to have no salt though and little fluids. It is hard because you cant have anything processed. I take 80 mg of lasix each day, any less and the fluid still stays. But too much and my creatine goes up. Then I have to go off, and the fluid comes back. It is a viscious cycle. Anyone who has any ideas on how else to get this fluid out of legs and feet, please let me know.. thanks.. Huugggs. Joanne :) "

" I have taken lasix before when I had a lot trouble with swelling. But for the last few months I haven't had too. Hang in there eveyone. Not many people have PH so we are in a select few. Lucky us. huh? They are learning a lot more about it and I am glad to keep learning and you all have helped increase my knowledge. I have a long way to go before I learn it all. Ha. Love and Prayers, Berta "

" one way is to have massage or the white leg-gens to push the fluid up your legs. Having your feet up above your heart as much as possible, Capsicum pushes the circulation.
Red Wine about 1 ozs be very careful with the wine. "

My husband massages my feet every night, half an hour each food, but it doesnt seem to help much. You said to use Capsicum? What is that? Is that like epsom salts? Does drinking the wine help? I have tried the stockings...they dont work and my feet are on a recliner above my heart most of the day. I am on 80 , sometimes a little more of lasix... geesh.. drives me crazy. Thanks for the help. hope your day goes ok.. hugggs. Joanne :) "

" I take 160 mg of lasix, (but i already have congestive heart failure) potassium and Lisinopril. I do not always take the full lasix dose, cus hey if I did, I may as well move into the bathroom then. I could just move the TV in there and settle in for a long stay. (TEEEHeeee) that is what happens with 160 mg of lasix. "

" Hi Jo
I dont pee much with what I am on,, just a little more, but if I take too much, my kidney function is compromised and I have to go off of it. I have been told that they are checking for heart failure sometimes, but I never knew what it was. What is it? Thanks for replying. There is no action in here lately. hugggs and take care. I will talk to you soon! Joanne :) "
