I had the headaches till I got used to Revatio. I take 20mg 8 and 2 and 8pm and I also have to take omeprazole 40mg for the heartburn, but I would definitely tell your Drs how you feel. Hope it gets better. I do alot of praying and reading. Good luck to you, Eiliene

Not having a good day at all today .. Legs ache really bad 30-40 min into every revatio dose. I hope this goes away .. The headache was not too bad today .On call cardio says this is nothing alarming, that is maybe due to blood pressure changes ..??

I take 25mg of viagra (same as revatio) 3 times a day but haven't had any headaches. When my doctor first prescribed it I had to take 1 tablet while I was still in the hospital to check that I didn't have any side effects.
The nurse checked my blood pressure every hour and asked if I was hot or cold or if I felt unwell at all. After monitoring me for 4 hours I was allowed to go home and start to take the tablets regularly.
That was last November and the only side effect that bothers me is the hot flushes but its a small price to pay for the improvement that I feel.
