I have been away from the board for a while taking
care of some family business and just read your last few posts. They hurt my heart. Please don't give up. I hope you go to Denver as soon as you possibly can. They have helped so many people and hopefully they will be able to help you too. I know it's hard and that having this damn disease can be so very depressing but I believe there is always hope. Thank you lomo. It is so hard to fight this disease - I would rather have cancer or heart disease. Some days I cough so hard I just want to die. They are giving me Hydroco/apap 5-500mg now to control the cough. It really does help the cough and the pain, but I worry about becoming addicted. I had an appointment in December at Nat'l Jewish Hospital, but I've changed it to April. Hopefully I'll be able to go. Thank you for your prayers. Tell me about yourself - how are your doing?

I am watching my dear husband fight with this disease :( I know the cough :( :( it tears him to pieces ....we are waiting to see the Consultant again on 10th and will ask for something to supress it...what he has so far has no effect.
Mike is on 02 24/7 Cellcept/prednisolone/NAC/Adcal/Alendronic Acid/Omneprazole and Naproxen ...............he has been losing weight so now also has a supplementary liquid meal prescribed. All this in just 1 year from onset. I so hope you get some help.......thinking of you {hugs}
