" Hi, i do get quite abit of pain as well but take so many drugs I don't like to add to it, so I use one of the microwave heatable bags (found in drug store) as they can wrap around the pain if its mild to med this usually helps after a couple of applications if not I will take ibuprofin and if it is really bad I resort to the doctor prescribed emtec. Hope you find relief. Karen "

" Thank you Karen. I have also tried the heating bags you mentioned. I find the pain can be quite severe at times butit seems to go in cycles....really bad for a few days and then it lets up. Really strange. "

" I take Fish Oil Capsules and recommended these to my daughters who have arthritis in their hands. They have seen a vast improvement. I also use an ointment called 'Pain Away' and it certainly helps. I think this ointment was developed in Australia so don't know if you can get it over there. "

" I have joint and muscle pain that arrives when I relax at the end of the day. If I don't take something for it, I can't sleep at night. I take Ibuprofin, and use an arthritis cream on the joints of my arms and legs. I have foud that when I take the Prednizone for my breathing, it removes the pain in my joints and muscles.

I hope you can get some relief soon. "

" Thank you for the advice and well wishes, GayleZ. I have not had the pain so much recently.....in the past it was excruciating at times. Have been on Prednizone again since my second hospsital stay and perhaps that fact is keeping the pain at bay.
Do you find breathing more labored in damp weather????????? "
