" My doctor prescribed 1 liter at night and 4 liters during the day. I have since increased my nightly dose to 2 liters. Doing this appears to have helped me sleep better at night. "

" This is something that should be throughly discussed with the doctor. After you are comfortable with the terminology, effects, and how the body reacts, then you can judge a little better about your level of need.
Currently I use 2.5 liters at night and none during the day unless I feel that I need it.

If the need changes too much, I will be having another discussion with the doctor. "

" UPDATE FROM MY FORMER COMMENTS:

Does Mike use oxygen 24 hours a day? If so, then I wouldn't hesitate to turn it up. He is the only one that can judge if he's not getting enough oxygen to feel comfortable. I have mine set on 4 during the day and 2.5 at night.

Hugs to you and Mike. "
