My S/O is unable to walk more than 5 or 6 steps, he sometimes makes it to the restroom. He has lost a lot of weight, as eating requires breathing. He is too hot most often even though my room is a meat-locker. He is depressed and does more panting than correct nasal breathing. He cannot ever be without his oxygen and is sucking down two liters, most often three, I feel he needs more but have it under advisement not to increase the numbers on the concentrator without medical intervention. His saturation point hovers at 82-85 which is good because it was lower during our last E/R visit. I need to know what's next, medicine nurse or hospice nurse?
