my husband has had copd for 5 yrs and was put on o2 24/7. the dr told him he has pf, can someone elaborate what this is?

Pf is irreversible,it is scaring of the lungs.The disease causes the the lungs to hardened,thats makes it harder to breath.Oxygen does make it easier. "
