Coming off Warfarin after 6 months due to idiopathic PE's. Should I be asking about compression stockings. Has anyone had any experience with aspirin or fish oil in preventing clots?

Anybody else got any tips?

" Hi Tdk999,,,,

I am surprised your Dr.has not recommended the stockings sooner.I am 3 1/2 post DVT and PE I have been wearing mine right along. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get them and couldn't hurt.My legs feel soooo much better with them on.
I guess if you did not have a DVT in your leg and no pain in your leg then no sense in wearing them though.I don't think they would help with your PE......

As for the Asprin and fish oil I myself have not heard anything about them.

Congrats on coming off the coumadin,,take care "
