Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.

A Canadian consumer alert show did a story about Yasmin in January of 2011. It prompted me to go off the pill but I still had an ankle to groin clot and multiple bilateral DVT's. They were looking for feedback on their 40th anniversary so I wrote in to say they had saved my life. Here's the link for the little story they did.
