Advice:
Double Vision?
Watch this

I have noticed that when in the hospital with the PE and afterwards I have occasional double vision. It does not seem to matter if I am wearing my glasses or not. I never had this problem before starting Lovenox (which I'm off now) and Warfarin. Has anyone else had this? I am going to make an appointment with an eye dr, but I just wanted to know if this is a possible side effect of the medication.

" I have had some vision problems at times. Usually about 20 - 30 min after a good hard ride. I will have problems for a bit and just have to sit down and wait it out. Eventually the vision returns correctly.
I have thought about going to the hosp or dr but by the time it would take to get there and wait to be seen, it is usually over by then

The dr has suggested that it is low blood pressure "

" I work for an opthalmologist. I'd definitely recommend seeing your regular eye doctor and asking them if you need to be seen by a neuro-opthalmologist. Here's a hint- it will be likely covered by your medical insurance plan if you tell them that the reason for the visit is double vision (a medical diagnosis and not simply related to needing glasses or a healthy checkup). The eye is an amazing thing.... we can look at the back of your eyes (retina) and be able to learn so much about your health. "
