After stopping Coumadin doctor put me on 100mg aspirin daily.
The problem is, whenever I slightly bump myself I get bluish black bruising on my hands or arms. I have been taking the aspirin for one week now and wonder if I should continue with it. Has anyone else had this problem with bruising. Scotgal. Posted on 08/18/09, 06:08 am |

Hi Scotgal. I don't have any experience with bruising while taking 82mg of aspirin daily (before my PE). I am not currently taking it though. My sister on the other hand says the same thing as you. She gets little bruises all over, but her Dr. said it is not a concern. Best to discuss with your GP though. Take care.

Hi scotgal,
I think it is always best to check these things out with your doctor. Personally, I've never been a big bruiser (except after my one and only paintballing session), even on the warfarin. Pip

LOL I try to match my scrubs that I wear to work with the color stage of my bruises. That way I am totally color coordinated. However I do have to admit its hard to find Scrubs in that weird greensih yellow color.
