i am sorry to anyone who i may offend being down on here. i just can't take it right now it is 4 weeks of high pressure headache and the main NS is supposed to be booking in my VP shunt. i still haven't heard from him and when i call i am just told he is looking into it we will call you as soon as we know anything, i could go to ER i could tell them it's not better it's worse waking up stiff neck nausia cluster headache all over eyes pulsing, got like a "deaf" feeling in my left ear but i don't think it will help at all. stupid public hospital system, got some one to take my 3year old for the night and the 9 year old is at a party so having some down time but laying down dosn't make it help just make a stabbing pain behind my eye. i wanna sit and cry just explode and tell someone close how crap it all is just to get it off my chest so i can cheer up a bit. one good think my little girl has been given some good news her life expectancy is longer because she only has lung problems not pancrease problems that is awsome for those who know about her CF

" Oh gosh .
you've not offended me, I can't imagine your pain. My heart goes out to you and anyone else on here going through the agony you are going through. I try so hard to stay positive because I really believe it will all be okay, not just for myself but all of us. I can't say that I have any clue how you and some of the rest of the sg are feeling because my symptoms are not like yours. I have come to understand that ptc is not just one shade. I see so many different cases/symptoms on here. I feel for you, and I wish I could help you.
I am happy that you finally got some good news.
I know relief is coming soon, try to keep that in mind.
Betty! "

" Hi Drgnfli,

Hey...you're not offending anyone by venting.

You bring tears to my eyes . I can so relate to what you're saying by my experiences with my daughter. She went through a year and a half feeling lost and desperate and saying that this wasn't what she pictured her life would be. But she finally got a VP shunt and so far so good. She has some relief from the HAs, but still can't read. We are seeing the NO Nov 16.

So I can relate to your feelings, and I can only say what I say to her - take it 1 day at a time, and don't give up!! Go to the ER and get something for the pain and get a little break from it. Do you have any pain meds that help a little??

You can vent here all you want - to people who can understand the pain and frustration that you're feeling .... IIH is a horrible thing!

Draw on the good news about your daughter. Sit upright in a chair, close your eyes, take a deep breath in,hold it for a few seconds, and as you breath out slowly, focus on the good news about your daughter.

My thoughts and prayers for you!

Judie "
