So, I just went to my dermatologist and he suggested a new biologic called Stelera. Its only been in the US markets for 2 weeks. It is one injection then one in a month, then after that its every 12 weeks. So 5 shots a month...they do it in your doctors office...so I had the prescription filled and the copay was......im really saying this.....$3,000.00! the copay! So luckily like many of these products there is an assistance program you can get through the drug company, so i pay nothing for the first three months and then i only pay 100 dollars for every refill after that, and you have to reapply every year. SOOOOO! I have not started it yet, I am having an issue with health insurance right this moment so i am not even sure I will be able to get the stuff started...but! I was wondering if anyone else had been prescribed this or has used it, and what their outcome was, I am currently on Enbrel, and have less than satisfactory results. They have never tested one biologic against another until stelera, and they tested it against enbrel with like a 70% improvement rate. Supposedly there are fewer side effects as well. If i am able to begin this treatment i will keep you all posted! However a little info in the mean time if there is any would be good! I am so sick of struggling with this, its gotten so bad, its on my eyelids and makes just opening my eyes painful, its so far in my ears i am starting to lose my hearing, and i am tired of covering the rest of my body all the time. I know we all struggle i think i needed to vent a little! So thank you for reading this and any advice would be lovely!

" Just saw my Dr. he agreed to let me try Stelera also. Should start soon. I will keep you posted on how I do and hope you will post your results also. I really hope for good results with this one. I have been in a terrible flare-up and can't wait for some relief. I will take some before and after photos. Keep the faith. "
