" Hi!
I am new to this group but do suffer from psoriasis. I know what your going through... and my thoughts are with you. If you have any treatment ideas please share! You have my support. I also have been an on and off friend of Bill's. More off than on but its another area in my life i continue to struggle with. But one thing i have learned to try to take things one day at a time. "

" Hi, babyd! Well, the problem right now is I have essentially no insurance. I had a doc write me a prescription for Enbrel injections which helps...the encourage foundation provides that med for me because it is expensive. I use Diprolene ointment (steroids) and lots of aquaphor (over the counter lotion). It helps with the scaling and the itching quite a bit. P.S. I know alcohol makes my psoriasis worse. Welcome to the group. =] "

" I have a severe case of Guttate Psoriasis, and completely understand your pain. Small doses of sunlight, LOTS of sleep(if you can sleep, i was prescribed sleeping meds and vicodin), and baby oil W/ aloe and vitamin E in it have helped me. Not stressing about it seems to be the hardest part. I'm on month 2 and still have small breakdowns. This is my 3rd time ever breaking out... hope this helps "

" I can definitely relate to you on the pain! I also suffer with a severe case. I do not have insurance so i can not afford RX. I usually take baths in oil and apply vaseline at bedtime. this seems to help a little. "
