Thanks Everyone xx

" If I can continue to tolerate the methotrexate, I hope to eventually go on Enbrel. I understand it is very expensive. "

" My doctor's office has been working on lowering the cost of Enbrel for me since he is expecting to give it to me before the year ends. It was at $800 per mo. for my sixty percent of a non-generic. The Enbrel company has made some kind of deal with my insurance company. I will now be paying $100 for a 3 mos supply. "

" No, I haven't started Enbrel, I could not afford it until this week. I am trying UVB tx for the first time and am seeing some help for lesions. I am going to give the light tx a good try before going to Enbrel. "

" I went to my Rheumatologist on Thursday and he is going to try me on Embrel. I guess the methotrexate isn't working as well as it could. We have to find a way to pay for the Embrel and I need a TB test before I start. My hands have become so bad now that I am going to start wearing gloves during the day to prevent them from the constant splitting and bleeding all over the place, not to mention the pain that accompanys it. He also said it would help with the fatigue. Can anyone on Enbrel tell me anything about it? Is it really the miracle he tells me it is? "

" My husband uses it and it has done wonders for him. I think he has been on it for 4 years now. He gets sever ps without it. He is a business man and the severity tends to scare people. So Enbrel keeps the ps at bay. It also takes care of his ps arthritis. "

" May I ask if one takes it along with the methotrexate? "
