Prostatitis/Rectal pain

I am a 46 year old male, and about two weeks into a flare up with Prostatitis. My first attack was 3 years ago, and my symptons then were burning in the tip of penis. I did have pain with ejaculation, and any type of alchohol made the pain worse. The condition lasted about six months, and during that six months I did do physical therapy including pelvic massage (As well as taking antibiotics such as Levaquin). My current flareup has been different. I am having pain in my anal/rectum area making it uncomfortable sitting. I don't have any discomfort in the urethea or tip of penis. I have been jogging, and it seems that jogging makes this rectal pain worse. I did see my Urologist, and he prescribed Levaquin, and Naproxen. No infection has been determined so it is the Non-Bacterial Prostatitis. I still don't know what caused the Prostatitis to come back, but very frustrated. I live in New York City, and considering doing the Physical Therapy if the condition doesn't improve in a few weeks. I am just very frustrated and looking to this board for info and support. I also suffer from occasional bouts of Diverticulitis, but my last attack with this was a year ago, and I have been eating better and trying to stay active.

" Bud, if you live in NY, visit Dr. Toth & have your semen & prostate fluid tested for bacteria. This way you'll know for sure. I made the trip from Ca. "

" Non-Bacterial Prostatitis means they (doctors) don’t have the answer. Why has no infection has has been determined? What method was used? How did they determine there was no infection?
I am not saying you don’t have Non-Bacterial Prostatitis, I am curious to learn more, have you had a second opinion? "
