Wow, what a slap in the face.....
The Dr's office just called here to tell us that his results are positive for Cancer. No other info given till we see the Dr in a week. Just leave us hanging why dont you...... So, I will be around her going over this site and doing my own research... Sue Posted on 04/28/09, 05:04 pm |

Without knowing his actual numbers its hard to comment on his situation. Prostate cancer is slow growing so you have time to research your options and get multiple opinions. I have advanced prostate cancer and was diagnosed 4 years ago. Today I am cancer free due to my alternative approach. I was told the same thing a few weeks ago Good Friday, yea good alright what news. well had to wait a week to see doctor then he acts like no big deal, caught early he wants to do radiation. Im going to get a second opinion and see what another doctor thinks . My cousin and a few others had theirs removed . I'll see first , not going to jump the gun Im told it is a very slow moving cancer. Also I read that 1 out of 5 guys get it. Also guys in there 70s have died from other things and when they did an exam they found out they had prostate cancer and never knew it. I was told by my doctor to put hip surgery on back burner but I had my hip done 2 weeks ago I want to drive myself to radiation not go in an ambulance everyday. Well I'll put you in my friends list cause you and me are in the same boat and found out about the same time . Keep in touch and we'll keep talking each other thru it Later Paul
