Hello everyone. While I am new to this group I have been a general member of DS for a little while. My problem is that I have just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. My glason is 3. My next step is to see a urologist on the 27th.
I want to know, why am I so tried all the time? I will admit I have gained a few more pounds and I hav'nt been exercising like before my wife had her affair but, where is the tirness coming from? Is it the depression from before coming again,or something worst. Please, help. prince Posted on 08/05/09, 05:08 pm |

I can't tell you why you are tired all the time. I would suggest a complete physical with blood work. Or even better yet go to a holistic M.D. where they do extra blood work and instead of treating the sympton they look for the cause. As far as the prostate cancer a Gleason of 3 is very low. I would get a second reading of the biopsy report, part of it is subjective, you may not even have prostate cancer. What was your PSA?
Prostate cancer is very slow growing so you have time to get second opinions and look at different treatment options. The good news if you do have prostate cancer your numbers are low where the cure rate is very good. the least invasive treatment is HIFU, check it out. good luck Dan Good luck Dan

At this time I would consider watchful waiting, some prostate cancer never becomes life threatening. You may want to look at diet and supplements , thats what I do and its been successfull for over 3 years.
