Hey y'all, my aunt was admitted to the hospital today. She was having chest pains and she went into the doctor. Her blood pressure was really low and they did an EKG. She had arrhythmia. They called 911, and she was taken via ambulance to the hospital. They did blood tests on her, and they confirm the prescence of a clot. Right now she's getting a CAT scan done. I"m really, really wo...
I must say I am at a time where I am literally baffled at the Endos here in Canada at least in Western Canda. The province I live in we have 1 Endo who in the beginning of this told me I have a prolactinoma 4mm he put me on bromo 1 full pill a day and told me to see him in a year, that this was no big deal. Well needless to say my family Doctor didn't like that answer so she referred me...
Today is the completion of my first month on Cabergoline. Although the side effects have been constant, my major complain are these horrible headaches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have felt pretty good most of the time. With the exception of some moods swings and feeling of "hung over" on alot of days. In two more months i will now if my levels have dropped or not when i go to my Endo.
So I took the new meds Bromociptine last night for the first time. This morning I woke up with the worse headache and a very neausious feeling. I have been feeling sleepy, lazy, and sick to my stomach ever since. This medicine apparently is the only medicine hey perscribe to treate Prolactinoma. From what I am reading on the web, it's the same medication used to treat patients with Parcenson&...
I feel a bit sad, that I came to this site expecting to find support from others who suffered the same or a similar condition and share things. Doug has been very welcoming and supportive. But I have posted a couple of items, and given a hug to one member, plus answered a couple of others, sharing my similar story (ie the Prolactinoma Support Group) Yet no one has responded to me. Not on...
I went over to my friend V----'s house today. He had been bugging me for weeks to go see his new place. He is naturally energetic and optimistic. I suspect he has naturally high testosterone levels. He's also completely extroverted and social and quite gabby. I am not. I couldn't help feeling there's something really wrong with me next to h...
One of those days I guess. Feeling tired (usual the last few days), plus a little bit of dizziness really since I started taking the full dose of Bromo. Had an argument with my hubby last night that we are still not totally resolved. Totally in a funky mood. Found out I didn't get this fellowship through work that my boss nominated me for and that I was really excited ...
