Probably too much Cabergoline. Maybe we can get the manufacturer to come out with a "Cabergoline - Lite".
Think it would sell???

Cabergoline lite sounds good, she's taking 1/2 of 0.5 mg twice a week, don't know if they can
reduce the dosage, going back to the endo on Nov. 9th, going to talk to her then She'll have blood drawn this tuesday, hopefully when we see the doctor her levels will have gone down.

Hi.. unfortunately Gina may have those days when she is unable to get out and about.
Be certain her doctor is made aware of her lack of energy. It could be her meds, either dosage or perhaps her doctors need to consider other options of medication. You cannot be too careful in counting out other issues that may arise.. get her thyroid checked as well, just to be sure.

I am on .5 mg of Cabergoline twice a week (one whole pill twice a week). the first couple of weeks were HORRIBLE. now that it's been almost two months things have been getting better. I don't get as much headaches and that "hung over" feeling as much. i'm still very tired most days, all i want to do is sleep! Hang in there... he body will start getting used to the medication. Good luck. Hope she starts to feel better soon!!!

Hi,
I know this not much help...but I have been on 0.25mg cabergoline twice a week for 3 months..previously was taking 0.25mg once a week..that did nothing to the prolactin levels. The levels are now comming down, but I still have side effects especially headaches and tiredness. BUT they are getting less, and my system seems to be slowly adjusting, remember all the other hormones will have to find their balance when the prolactin adjusts as well..and this is a slow process..I have given myself two years to feel horrible and accept it....Good luck!

Hi I've been on Cabergoline for 10 months firstly on the small dose of half a tablet twice a week and now Im on (for the past 3 months) one tablet twice a week, I was ok on the half a tablet, but have felt pretty awful on the bigger dose, I'm hoping it gets better, as long as it is doing the job I shall persevere, I have another MRI August 2010, and hope full my Tumor 2 cms with have reduced.
Best wishes, Linda
