" Is your prolactin level within the normal range? Testosterone is supposed to rise after your prolactin level is normal. How big was your prolactinoma and what size is now? "

" How big is your tumor? If it gets too large, it can cause damage to neighboring brain structures and the optic nerve, potentially leading to blindness. In that case, it would probably need to be removed. I have read about some people losing much of their pituitary function after a tumor has been removed, in which case they need to be on hormone replacement for the rest of their lives. Low testosterone for a man is dangerous, potentially leading to a variety of health problems. Have your testosterone tested; if it's low, you should probably be on replacement therapy. You will feel much better--sharper, less depressed, more virile--with normal testosterone levels. You should also be on medication to correct any other hormonal imbalances caused by the tumor. Good luck! "
