My wife was addicted to hydros and ultrams for 8 yrs. The worst side effect for her was irritability, pain in legs, and throwing up everything she ate for a month. She has been on the Suboxone prog. for 4 months and is getting back to her old self again.I do not know what will happen when the sub program ends but we will see. Hang in there and get help family members do not like seeing their loved ones torn inside and out.

thanx.i've stopped extracting codiene 2 weeks ago and am trying to limit the amount of codiene tablets that i take. my whole body shakes and i feel sick alot, especially after eating food and also at the thought of eating. i get alot of headaches aswell. i have started drug and alcohol counselling. no one in my family knows. my occupational therapist knows and is awesome and being there for me appart from her only 1 other person knows. i haven't been able to find alot of info on the withdrawals from codiene. thanx atleast i don't feel like i'm going sooooooooo crazy now.

Basically the way you're feeling now is what you can expect, depending on how much you have been taking.
Chills, sweats, nausea (which can be helped a lot by getting an rx for phenergan/promethazine), restlessness. The withdrawal symptoms for most narcotics are the same, depending on usage.
