i just got somewhat clean for a 3 year addiction to pain meds. i went to rehab about a year ago and then started back immediately after i got out. they told me there that sneezing was a withdraw symptom. i had never heard that. i noticed that when i was in rehab i sneezed a lot and now that ive been clean for about 3 weeks im sneezing my head off. anyone know about this? it cound just be allergies but they told me sneezing was a withdraw thing.

I think often its an opiate addiction withdrawal tends to be a lot of flu like symptoms including runny nose, stuffiness and sneezing. Could be allergies but not impossible that its withdrawal related... at least thats what I think... bless you. :-D

Hi Amy!
Dutch is right... I had flu- like symptoms during opiate withdrawal. Also muscle aches, headache, insomnia and not-very-pleasant intestinal probs! (yuck!) Take care of yourself!

Withdrawals are like the worst case of flu you ever had so some people do sneeze alot. It's been 3 weeks so you should be al done with the major withdrawals but you may be having P.A.W. Post acute withdrawal symtems. These are days in which you wil feel like you are having withdrawals even though you are completely clean.
But don't worry hun! As time goes on, these episodes will be shorter and less severe. TC and God Bless
