My due date is August 4th. I feel like I'm gonna go into labor. My back hurts, but not like.. all the time. It'll hurt for a few minutes then stop hurting for a few minutes blah blah blah. I feel like I'm gonna throw up and I've had like two or three random cramps in the past half hour, but they weren't really bad or anything. I haven't felt any contractions that I know of, but at my NST last week I had four or five of them (from dehydration they said) and I couldn't feel them. Since then I've been drinking so much water it's ridiculous. The baby is really active all of a sudden, and I've felt weird pains for almost two days. Almost in my vagina but not quite.. I can't really pinpoint where but they are like little pangs of pain that last a few seconds to about a minute then go away. The baby also feels like he's lower in my stomach then he usually is... I'm so nervous. :S

Well, it could be preterm labor since your 16. Younger girls have a higher chance of early labor. And at the beginning contractions feel like period cramps just with more pain. The next time it happens time them. time how long it lasts and how far apart they are. Also, it could be something called braxton hicks. It's false labor. Basically they are practice contractions. You can tell the difference between the 2 because real labor will be like you have a contraction every 7 or 8 minutes and they last like 10 seconds or something. While braxton hicks will be more random. Like you'll get one and then 10 minutes later another one then 30 minutes another and then another 5 minutes later. Do you get that? If not you can send me a message and talk more about it. I'm willing to help :)

I had my daughter at the age of 17, when i was pregnant with her the doctor said she was going to be a 6 pound baby, but what did she know she didnt even show at the birth! anywho turned out i went into labour a week and 2 days late, didnt know i was in labour so i rolled around on the floor for a while, took a bath, and then dashed into the room to wake my fiancet who had to work the next day. was on the largest snowstorm of the year! and took us 2 hours to get to the hospital, once i was there i was 6 cm dialted at 3:30 in the morning, i got the epiderl at the last minute bc my daughter was a large child, i mean u put her next to a norm baby ud see, she was 9 pounds 11 ounces at birth so thats no 6 pound baby lol. the point of me saying this story was to say go to the hospital even if its just false labour bc wat if it is the real thing and u end up trapped without transportation like i did for 2 hours lol good luck with ur bundle of joy!

I had my daughter when I was barely 16. It was the most freightening but the most exciting thing I've ever been through. What you're feeling are braxton hicks. I started getting them about a month before I gave birth. I too thought I was going to go into labor. I made a few false alarm runs to the hospital. So don't be alarmed, it's just nature taking it's course. You're cervix is trying to soften so it can get ready to pass the baby through. Just so you know it's normal to feel nervous...try to relax because once the baby is here it'll be a while before you're able to again. Being a mother is so wonderful, my daughter is now 8 years old and it seems like the days have blown by. Take it all in bc it truly does go by so fast.
