16 yr old son started dating 17 yr old girl approx April 10, actively sexual(unprotected) Had sex for last time April 26th, she went back to ex, had sex with other boy next day, claims to have started her period that day also. Mid May she went to Dr. routine check up for problematic ovarian cysts, Did test as usual per check up she found out she is pregnant. Dr. told her she's very early into pregnancy. Waiting for sono to be done on June 23 to get a better time frame. I believe the bleeding she had was most likely implantation bleeding. She told other boy it's his baby, but now everyone accepts that it could be my sons. Can anyone just give me some clarification. Maybe I'm just looking for justification, I don't know. My kids are 19,18,16,oldest is girl, other 2 are boys.

awe im so sorry that must be really hard. i had bleeding at the early stage as well and went to a dr and he said that he has never seen implantation bleeding and it is some random thing that internet sites play up alot but in his 20 years he has never seen that. periods during your pregnancy are rare but do happen. and light bleeding at the beginning is pretty normal. the dr thought i had a very early misscarrage adn thats what my weird bleeding was. but as far as knowing who the babys dady is i think your just gunna have to waite untill a DNA test can be done which i know is hard cus that will be so far away. anyways hope some of that helped.

I guess I'm just overly worried, but she and her best friend told us she had started her period April 27th,(the day after they broke up, but also had sex that day, before splitting). She had sex with the other boy on the same day she started(period). She found out she was pregnant on May 26th. I'm just not good at waiting for information. I can crunch the numbers all I want to, but I have no way of knowing exact date of conception. Have to wait til sono. A friend reminded me yesterday, everything in God's time, not mine. Thank you for responding.

no worries. and thats such a good point by your friend only God knows and can decide the fate of this right? but just remember during conception it can take days for the egg and sperm to meet so both of the sperm could be still in her at the same time if the two times she has sex with different people were as close as im understanding them to be.
ill be praying for you forsure i saw what my parents with through when they thought i was pregnant and it was brutal im so sorry you have to go through that to ill be praying for you ~Hayley

Time for the update. Sonogram on June 23rd showed her to be 6.6wks pregnant, meaning she got pregnant about May 12/13, two weeks after she and my son broke up. So he was relieved and disappointed at the same time. But our Lord and Father has plans for all of us, that we cannot foresee. I had to make a trip to the emergency room on Thursday June 25th due to an excrutiating stomach/intestinal virus. While I was being examined by the doctor, my daughter called me, she was bringing (the momma) to the Emergency Room. She was cramping very bad and bleeding. End result, she had a miscarriage. The other boy never came up to the hospital. My son got off of work and came straight there to be by her side, as well as 3 other friends. So, my dear DS family, please pray for her to find comfort and be at peace with what has happened. Thank you for being here.
