" Hi, this is definitely tough but you have to tell someone. Be prepared for them to express their emotions, but once they get through the initial shock, then they'll come around and help you keep you and your baby healthy. By keeping this secret, you're putting additional stress on yourself. There's alot involved while pregnant and you shouldn't be alone. YOu said you're Catholic so tell your priest first ...he should guide you as to what to do next...he can help you. I know you feel you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, but once someone knows, it lifts the weight a little bit. And you can also talk stuff out here in Dailystrength. I want you to know you are not alone here. There are many wonderful people here that have been there...use their support. I wish you luck. "

" i was in the same situation. only my church is a penticostal church. i just went to my mom one night and said "plrease dont hate me, but im pregnant" she told me she could never hate me, gave me a hug and went to bed. as for your church, you will defanently find out who really does care for you! the closest people to u now wont be once you tell them. they will look down on you and probably say hurtful things!!! but just remamber that your baby is not a mistake but a gift from GOD!!! just keep your head up and do what your heart tells you and what is best for your baby!!!
