I am 7 weeks pregnant, after having suffered 2 consecutive miscarriages, so I am really in tune to my body, almost too much. Every pang or cramp I get, I get a little worried. I have had some slight cramping on and off this pregnancy. It was more so in week 4 and then died off, but it has come back. I also am having more of a discharge than normal. I just had a u/s at week 6 and we saw a fetal pole and sac, but she could not see the heartbeat...she thought she did but was not 100%. I left there even more freaked out!
I am on progesterone suppositories and have heard that this discharge is normal, but it scares me. I take comfort in knowing that my boobs are so sore, and this is a great sign. I guess I am just looking for any ladies out there who have had crazy symptoms and cramping and pangs and watery discharge, and their pregnancies are just fine. Thank you for sharing! I hit 9 weeks tomorrow. I have had one prior miscarriage and totally understand what you are going through. I have had a fair bit of cramping for weeks now and I am definitely having a lot discharge. I had an u/s on Friday and everything looks great. The baby's heartbeat was up to 177 and growth has been constant and continuous. But like you, I don't know that I will be entirely comfortable/confident that everything is going OK until the day I bring home my little guy or gal from the hospital. My husband tells me that's what being a mom is, worrying over your children.

Hi there, I am 16.5 weeks now and have had pangs and cramps on and off all the way through. This is normal because the uterus is stretching to make way for that baby of yours. I have posted about it too though because it freaked me out for the longest time but I am accepting now that all these twinges are normal. If they become continuous and increase in intensity then they might be something to worry about but on and off twinges and cramps are totally normal. And I've had quite a bit of watery discharge too. I can only imagine how hard it must be after 2 miscarriages. Hope your next u/s puts your mind at rest! Hugs x

I'm 8 weeks and 2 days with twins. I'm on Crinone gel/suppository for progesterone support and had my own freakouts recently when it was giving me a brown and bloody discharge when the excess with the excess gel running back out. Was told it's normal. I've also been told that cramping is normal as our uterus expands and grows with the babies. Although it's possible to detect a heartbeat at 6 weeks, it's also not uncommon to not. I hope your next ultrasound shows you a good strong heartbeat!

Thank you ladies for your responses! It is so nerve wracking to get cramps and backaches, after having miscarried before. Scary! I have my next u/s on Thurs, so wish me luck! I hope you all have wonderful pregnancies..:)

I am 8 and a half weeks pregnant after a late term loss and a miscarriage. I am also in progesterone suppositories, as well as Progesterone injections and estrogen patches and I have a lot of discharge. Sometimes it is watery and wet, sometimes it is thicker and always, I immediately run to the bathroom to check and make sure it's not blood (I have had a lot of that too!). Everything my doctor has told me is that discharge is 100% normal and fine, expecially when you are on the suppositories. Also, I have had a lot of cramping and lower back pain. Sometimes the cramps are more general, like deep menstral cramps, and sometimes they are sharp little pang, like round ligament pains. And again, my doctor said this cramping is completely normal as long as it is not accompanied by a lot of blood and do not get unbearable. And mine have even come with heavy bleeding, and my baby is still looking fine. So, hang in there...everything you are explaining sounds very normal!
